I was into brand identity before I knew it had a name. As a kid, I collected cigarette labels like they were small pieces of art. I’ve also been drawing for as long as I can remember.
Markers, stickers, acrylics, screen printing, GIFs, logos, words and strange visual systems all coexist in my work. I’ve never seen them fight.
I’m Leandro López Polonski, also known as Axtor, a Designer & Art Director from Argentina.
I’ve worked on corporate branding pieces that don’t always look corporate, sometimes for companies where my name stays invisible. At the same time, I make experimental graphic humor, visual loops, stickers and abstract images that try to push things somewhere less predictable.
I don’t specialize in one single thing. If something grabs me, I learn it, break it, remix it and make it part of the system.
